| No
tombstone to hint the lonely silence
No statue to imitate Pushkin's thinking
Only four ever-green young trees
Protect a granite without any polishing.
Around the square cemetery stand old towering
trees:
A solemn pine,
A huge maple without red-dye
As if telling the four kids:
Keep quiet, keep quiet in the tomb,
Let the granite seal the poet's dream.
Notes:
Pushkin, Alexander (1799-1837), a Russian well-known
poet whose statue with his head lowering a little
bit to show that he was thinking hard.
