只为欣赏挑"茶"杆
满院秋风追落叶
一枝黄竹跃石垣…

【注】2002年重阳节作者同女儿一起取道千古名寺--卧佛寺西侧专程来周家花园，即樱桃沟赏秋。一枝修长的黄色竹杆，挑着一个灯笼状的"茶"幌 ，让人联想起《沙家浜》中的"春"来茶馆以及《水浒传》里着墨不多但给人印象很深的诸多"酒"幌来。

The Cherry Valley

The old towering trees dangle clouds in white,
The birds sing, the stream gurgles, the hills quiet.
This season few travelers come here as we like,
At the teahouse, only my daughter and I arrive.

Although "a pot of tea cost a pot of gold"
I pay for enjoying the "tea" dangled by a pole.
Driving fallen leaves out is the wind cold;
Out of the stone wall is a long bamboo rod.

Note: On the Chinese traditional Double-Ninth Day, 2002, the author's daughter kept him company to visit the Cherry Valley (also named Zhou' s Family Garden) for pleasure in the fresh autumn by way of the west side of the ancient Sleeping Goddess Temple. A long bamboo rod or pole is lifting up a lantern-like "tea" sign as a symbolic advertisement. The Chinese traditional advertising way associates me with the similar sign in the well-known Peking Opera "Shajiabang" (Sha is a family name, jia means family or home and bang means near a river or lake bank). In the Opera, there is a Spring Coming sign as a teahouse name, and also the "Wine-shop" sign in the Chinese famous novel "Outlaws of the Marsh" though the author did not describe much more details, still left readers very deep impressions.
